Embryo Donation

Build the Family of your Dreams through Embryo Donation

An embryo donation may be the blessing needed to make your family a reality.

At BBA, we help build families by matching donated embryos with loving intended parents like you who want nothing more than to grow your family.

We’ll facilitate the matching process and perform all coordination efforts before transferring your medical  care to our partner clinic, ICRM.

Embryo Donation Services - Anonymous & Known Donations

Consultations

Meet with one of our experienced staff members for an introductory meeting and consultation. We’ll explain everything, go over all intake paperwork, agency fees, and you will gain access to the electronic embryo database (Through Egg Donor Connect).

Embryo Donation and Parent Matching

Our team will coordinate with you to find an embryo match that most closely meets your specifications. We’ll also coordinate everything needed for your journey for a known or anonymous embryo donation before any medical procedures or treatments.

Complete Case Management

From coordinating the embryo transfer through ICRM to scheduling all consultations and meetings, Building Blocks Agency is there every step of the way to guide you through your embryo donation journey.

The Basics of Embryo Donation

Anonymous vs Known Embryo Donation

An anonymous embryo donation means that the donor of the embryo will remain anonymous forever. Physical traits are still known, but the donors themselves are not.

With a known donation, the donors are identified, and additional legal work is required to establish the agreement.

Anonymous Donation

If an anonymous donor is chosen, our team will coordinate the next steps to ensure that the journey is as seamless and stress-free as possible. As the recipient, you will be required to participate in a Reproductive Psychology Educational Consultation.

Known Donation

If a known donor is chosen, our team will coordinate the following:

  • All agency fees to cover the cost of additional services.
  • An introductory meeting between the embryo donor and the intended parent.
  • A Reproductive Psychology Educational Consultation for donors and recipients independently, followed by a joint consultation.
  • Legal contract between the embryo donor and the recipient.

It is our mission to help recipients achieve their dream of growing their families through a journey that is as streamlined and smooth as possible.

FAQs

BBA directly partners with ICRM to help build families by matching embryos donated to ICRM from previous patients with recipient families.

When other infertility treatments are unsuccessful or too costly, embryo donation provides an alternative through high-quality embryos waiting to be matched with those who wish to achieve a successful pregnancy.

BBA will facilitate the matching process and perform any coordination required before scheduling the medical procedures or treatment that will take place under the care of ICRM.

BBA offers two types of embryo donations – anonymous and known.

An anonymous embryo donation involves no communication or connection between donor and recipient.

A known embryo donation involves an “open” relationship between donor and recipient, which begins with an introduction between the two parties.

All known embryo donations require a legal contract that solidifies the adoption terms between the donor and recipient.
