Becoming a surrogate is one of the most selfless gifts you can give a family. However, it is also an enormous responsibility that is not without risks.
At BBA, we want you to understand all the steps and risks involved in becoming a surrogate before deciding to embark on this incredible journey.
Our mission is to ensure that the surrogates and the intended parents we serve remain fully informed through complete transparency.
You’ll meet with our caring Building Blocks Agency staff who will explain the steps and risks of surrogacy and help you to decide if you want to give this selfless gift. We’ll go over important paperwork, coordinate all surrogate compensation schedules, payment timelines, and explain the entire process with full transparency.
Building Blocks Agency will match surrogates to intended parents based on their preferences. Our staff will set up an introduction and meeting between you and the intended parents for a potential match.
From executing legal agreements and coordinating travel and accommodation needs to educating and supporting surrogates and parents, Building Blocks Agency is there every step of the way. Our complete case management services support parents and surrogates before, during, and after the journey.
Becoming a surrogate through BBA involves an introductory meeting and consultation with our team followed by the intake paperwork and receipt of relevant documentation.
Once all requirements are met, our knowledgeable staff will coordinate an introduction meeting between the intended parents and a surrogate for a potential match.
BBA provides concierge services throughout your surrogacy journey, from intake to birth, and is always available to assist in any way possible.
Surrogates are equally as important as the intended parents in any surrogacy journey, and our compassionate team is committed to making them feel that way.
The complete, up-front screening process of all GCs contracting with BBA before matching eliminates wasted time or disappointment should any portion of the screening fail, which is equally beneficial for surrogates and intended parents.
The complete pre-screening process typically takes two to three months to complete. However, a match is guaranteed if a prospective GC passes all the steps of her screening.
BBA compensates all surrogates that contract with our agency with a $1,000 retainer fee following their full screening ($500 at the time of medical records clearance and $500 after completing background check, in-home inspection, psychological evaluation, and complete medical evaluation).
Compensation for a first-time surrogate is $42,000-$50,000 and $52,000-$60,000 for an experienced surrogate.
BBA also offers a $1,000 referral bonus to anyone that refers a potential GC to our agency who makes it to legal clearance.
